All artwork sold through The Unrolled Canvas is created by hand by artist Melinda Butler. By using this website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
The Unrolled Canvas reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be reflected on this page.
Artwork & Artistic Style
By purchasing original or commissioned artwork, you are trusting the artist's unique style, creative process, and interpretation. Each piece is created with care and intention, and natural variations are part of the handmade nature of original art.
Colors may vary slightly due to screen settings and lighting.
Custom & Commissioned Artwork
Custom artwork, including pet portraits, is created specifically for you based on the reference images and information you provide.
- All custom and commissioned artwork sales are final once work has begun.
-No refunds or exchanges are offered on custom artwork
-Proofs and revisions are not guaranteed unless otherwise stated in the product description.
-The artist reserves the right to decline a commission request at their discretion.
Turnaround Time
Estimated turnaround times are provided on individual product listings and may vary depending on current workload and the artist's availability. Please feel free to reach me via email the.unrolled.canvas@gmail.com or the "Let's Chat!" button shown on the bottom right of this page.
Payment
Full payment is required at the time of purchase unless otherwise stated. Orders will not be started until payment has been received.
All prices are listed in U.S. dollars.
Shipping
Artwork is carefully packaged to ensure safe delivery.
-Shipping costs are calculated at checkout.
-Once an order has shipped, The Unrolled Canvas is not responsible for delays, lost packages, or damage caused by the shipping carrier.
-Please ensure your shipping address is correct at the time of checkout.
If you artwork arrives damaged, please contact me within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the packaging and artwork.
Returns and Refunds
Due to the custom and original nature of artwork, all sales are final.
Refunds, returns, or exchanges are not offered for:
-Custom or commissioned artwork
-Original artwork
-Sale or discounted items
Copyright & Usage
All artwork, images, and content on this website are protected by copyright law and remain the intellectual property of Melinda Butler.
-Purchase of artwork does not transfer copyright or reproduction rights.
-Artwork may not be reproduced, copied, sold, or used commercially without written permission from the artist.
-The artist retains the right to photograph, and display completed artwork for portfolio, website, and social media use unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

Personal information provided during checkout is used solely for order fulfillment and communication. Your information will never be sold or shared with third parties.
